Chapter 1: Rules

We here at Sancti Terras completely feel that users should be allowed to express themselves in their role playing, however there are rules here to ensure for one our safety, our players safety, and keeping Sancti Terras itself alive.

To begin, I will say that one of the most important rules is, you must be 18 to play. This is a requirement for the fact that some role players do and will get carried away in the logs. If you are 18 or older and feel you wish to get out, you are more then welcome to; however, for a child to be present and read said dialog is completely wrong and most likely violates a few laws.

Next up, God Complexes and out of place characters. Its really cool watching your favorite hero obliterate his foes in your favorite anime or television show. Awesome people run around slaying demons for a job here too. The thing is... When an army of 5000 soldiers approach an infamous murderer with a huge bounty on his head... he most likely will A) Attempt to flee or B) Die. There is no winning that fight, regardless of how good you are. No one has the stamina, skill, reflexes, talent to take that out. The second half of this rule is the out of place characters. For one, be creative and invent your character within our lore. It takes place in medieval times, with magic around too. There is a large area to run with and let your imagination create crazy things, lightsabers however will not be a thing. I don't want space ships, beam swords, chainblades, rocket launchers... none of it. The extent of projectile wepontry will be bow/arrow, crossbow/bolt, or thrown weapons.

Now to the part about content in role plays. We here are a community for an adventure / action style rp with all the other stuff on the side. There is plenty of room for romance, drama, sex, violence, horror, everything out there. Its open to everything in an rp. We however want to be consistent with combat, exploring, action packed fun. Could you be a common folk with a normal life? Go for it, but that may be boring. We are open to having sex scenes in a role play, however the cannot be the basis of every role play, same with horror. If you want those im sure you can have fun with a porn site or creepy pasta, not here.

Continuing the above, whenever you plan on having a gruesome scene. Perhaps your character mutilates a few villagers in great detail, please add to the title of the topic [NSFW: Gore] even if you do not have any images, include the whole tag please. Same with sex, [NSFW: Nudity] please and thank you. Stumbling into that with someone behind you may not be the greatest.

Next on our list: Trolling/Fights/OOC Issues. Please, do not troll. I [John] personally have a low tolerance for it and will not hesitate to remove you with much haste. Any issues you may have with another player (May it be a troll or not), please solve in pm and please include me in it so I can resolve the issue outside of the threads. If you do not like someone that is fine. Do not role play with them. If they consistently join your threads, send them a nice little private message saying "Not to be rude, but please allow me to role play with others too". Atop of that, don't hate the player for something their character may have done. Players must keep in character at all times. If hes a rude crude kind of character, that's who the character is; not the owner.

Now the final part of this article was roles. If Jane Doe is a crazy necromancer who is cannibalistic and runs around assaulting people... she more then likely will not go out on a date with someone. Make a personally, stick to it. People change, but slowly. Unless some crazy life revelation happened no one changes so drastically. However, characters are free to be deceptive and act differently if they have some kind of goal in mind.
